Country’s popular talent hunt programme, Closeup1 is going to introduce a new voting system in addition to the current voting system. The new voting system is called Tele Voting.

This voting system will be activated on 10th October 2008.

The audience from Bangladesh can vote for their favorite contestant both through sms and over phone calls. For tele-voting, they have to dial a six digit number, i.e.123401 or 123402 or 123410 to vote for the contestants’ code number. Please dial to vote for your favorite contestant from the table below:

The audience can also vote through sms. The procedure of sms voting will remain the same as it was before. For sms voting they have to write down the contestant’s name and send sms vote to 1234.

But there is set limit for each phone number for voting contestants. Each of the audience is allowed to send only 20 votes (10 tele voting + 10 sms voting) for each contestant.

Now starts Track (SMS) Round of Closeup1 2008 and is being aired 42 contestants who won from Instrumental Round are competing in this round.
They are divided into 5 groups. Each group is performing in 2 episodes (Performance Episode & Result Episode).
5 different fashion houses: Banglar Mela, Kay Kraft, O2, Shada Kalo and Payera are designing dresses for judges, MCs and participants.
In this Round viewers can vote individual participant through SMS or Online Voting Poll.
Bangladeshi viewers can vote each participant a maximum of 10 times from any mobile operators at 1234.
Foreign viewers can vote each participant a maximum of 10 times by logging on to www.closeup1.com or www.bangladeshinfo.com.
Voting lines are open from 09:30pm BST on the Performance episode airing date till 02.00pm the next day.

In Track (SMS) Round (01) of Closeup1 2008, Purna, Saju and Asha were selected for next round from Group-01 consisting of nine contestants: Purna, Beauty, Rabu, Shefaly, Bandana, Mona, Debu, Saju, and Asha.

In Track (SMS) Round (02) of Closeup1 2008, Apu, Sriti, and Leon were selected for next round from Group-02 consisting of eight contestants: Apu, Sriti, Pal, Leon, Nijhu, Razib, Sumit, and Rimi.

In Track (SMS) Round (03) of Closeup1 2008, Dina, Poran, and Lina were selected for next round from Group-03 consisting of nine contestants: Lina, Poran, Jamy, Shukla, Dina, Niloy, Bithi, Shitu, and Satta.
